I'm a Newbie: observing Laws of Gravity. - by Dew-Drop

In deus ex, gravity plays an important role. As in thief, when you land on something breakable from a great height, it breaks! Yeah, even absorbs some damage for you! (In Thief, I developed the sport of crate-diving!) In deus ex, when you stand or jump on something, it seems to appear to take appropriate damage. If you step on a rat, it's killed. If you step on a dog/bird/cat, they are killed after enough tries. I experimented dropping the Gep Gun on Louis Pan, and almost killed him. Hehe. Therefore, it is only logical to think, that this is a fun game where you can kill people by dropping crap on them. And so I set out on a quest to try it. In VersaLife, I went up to the Security room of the MJ12 facility (the room in which an MiB patrols).
I pushed two armchairs and a couch over to the window. I shot it out, then I watched an MJ12 guard walk below. I pushed the chair, expecting something out of the Looney Tunes, similar to flying anvils. And? Well, the chair fell on his head, and slid right off! He just walked on, unbothered! So I followed the chair, landed on the dude's head, and took minimal leg damage. Well? I was led to deduce the size of the subject definitely affects it's relationship with objects falling on it. There!

I have also noticed that, unlike Thief, if you drop dead/unconscious bodies off ledges, etc., the people downstairs don't seem to notice.

In the end of area51, there was an elevator button, and an elevator comes from the above and will fall on your head if you wouldn't step away from this place. It killed me one time.
Next time, when I reached this place from my last save, I called the elevator and stepped away. There was a kairkan running towards me, and the elevator falled down onto its head! I thought "how lucky!"
But... the kairkan was alive! Just stuck in the elevator! I was forced to kill it before I was able to come closer =)
