I'm back! ....AGAIN... - by LaughingMan008

So.... first off, apologies for treading some of the same ground here. A very short time ago, I came back to the community after a long absence, said hello, and asked where the best place was to catch up on all the fan missions I had missed out on. Wanting to get back into Thief after a good long while. Many of you were very kind in welcoming me back and telling me the best places to get fan missions from these days. So I went out and downloaded the full archive of fan missions from the most complete site I saw, and because Im SUPER paranoid about missing a single solitary thing, I combined that with my already large archive of fan missions I already had, then went through and deleted all the repeats and old versions and got what I feel was a very good and current archive of fan missions, updated my NewDark, got all of my Thief stuff up to snuff for modern day....
....and then my PC died. Before I had a chance to update my backup archive of it. ._.
I now have a new PC, and have just finished doing all of that again. So now, I'm almost finally ready to play Thief.
I just need one more bit of help. Patches for old fan missions. I understand that is a thing now, because some missions don't work properly with NewDark. As I understand it, I just have to download this archive and put it somewhere?

Or am I misunderstanding something?

My understanding is if you patched with t2fix for thief 2 all that stuff is already there.

The newest version of T2Fix has all the old fan mission fixes already part of it? Can I get a confirmation on that?
And if so, does the T1Fix do the same thing?

T2Fix contains all the fixes up to 2005, just tick the Thief 2 FM fixes box in the options box and they will be loaded automatically.
TFix contains a limited number of fixes atm, one day we'll get around to fixing the rest of them.

TFix installs them automatically, it's about two dozens of missions (all that are currently available around the forum).

Oh, that's great to know! Thanks! So I don't have to do anything at all once I install TFix or T2Fix? I just run the fan mission normally through AngelLoader or whatever and it'll automatically be fixed and working properly? Great! And thanks very much for putting in all the hard work to fix these things. You deserve alot more thanks than you get I think. Looking around the forum regarding this stuff I'm noticing alot of....
Uh.... very "sensitive" people shall we say who are under alot of delusions about certain aspects of modding and patching and the like. And who fail to recognize that every single mod that has ever been uploaded is actually, technically, the legal property of the Thief IP owner and not the person who made the mod. In other words Square Enix, at this point.

Okay, still just a little confused. Ive finally got everything set up, but I'm not sure if the dml patches are working or not. When I install a mission through FMSel, should the dml patches in the FMdml or T2FMDML folders for Thief 1 and Thief 2 respectively be added to the installed fan mission directory, or do they just somehow run from those folders or what? I can see no indication anywhere that FMSel is reading any of those dml files in those directories. AngelLoader clearly does NOT read those. AngelLoader, I know, at least clearly readed DML files that are in the action fan mission zips. Is there anything special I have to do for FMSel to load the dml files in the FMdml/T2FMDML folders?
