I forgot my old username as it's been a while since I've been on so I'm now known as twitter_taffer and I decided that now I have time to do a little more thiefing and work on the walkthroughs I promised a lot of people I'd probably need to come back here.
I've already run into a little problem (I know it's blasfemous - do excuse my spelling) but to do these walkthroughs I did play the game with a trainer "sorry sorry sorry" but it just takes me so long and I can't usually find all the secrets I'm after. Don't worry when I actually play the game I would never go near a trainer as it ruins the atmosphere of it and the need to plan you attack.
I'm working on thief II at the moment and I've found the trainer I have only works intermitantly and is driving me bonkers. It used to work when I started this task on my old computer but it wasn't an XP - could it be something to do with that? Or is there a specific order to run the trainer in? Any advice would be extremily helpfull or else I won't be able to get the walkthrough's finished this century.
Mank thanks taffers!

Are you doing these video walkthroughs? I downloaded all of them and found it quite sad that they were only for T1.

No they're not video walkthroughs. They're just a bog standard walkthrough in word with a few screenshots etc. but with the twist of funny comments from yours truely to lighten it up a little as some walkthroughs can be very boring.
I wasn't planning on having them uploaded on to a site because there are so many simerlar ones out there but if people ask for help I can offer them one of the walkthroughs after giving them advice through a comment.
I hope I can find a way to get the trainer to work or else it is going to take me sometime as I'm never the quickest to complete missions lol
Any more advice gratefully welcomed

I can understand what you mean. When writing a walkthrough in full detail in a time limit it can be hard with out cheats. When I wrote my deus ex walkthrough it would have been months to complete if I didn't have god mode.
I hope you're truthful when you say you don't use cheats in the real games when you play them properly as you are right that it does spoil the whole experience.
I wish I could help you with thief I'm not sure how to use trainers myself. Is there any other way to get 'god' mode?
