The wizard/imp thingie in Sacrifice is extremely entertaining. Just one of the many reasons why it is one of the best games ever made.
Actually, yeah, good call. Sacrifice is a great game, and fairly light-hearted too.

I was goign to say the original Sam n' Max: Hit the Road. if you can find a copy, and then get it to work.

Full Throttle!!! However finding a copy might be almost as hard as getting it to run on anything released since 2000.
As Toxicfluff pointed out, these posts are just full of fail. :tsktsk:

Playing as a Malkavian in Bloodlines.
Playing
any clan in Bloodlines.

Space Rangers 2 can be teh funny at times.
On another note, I've played all of these games. Humor is sorely lacking in the game industry. :(
Not only are almost all games not funny, they generally take themselves too fucking seriously.

If you seriously don't think Anachronox or a dumbass character in FO2 or playing Bloodlines as a Malk or some of the other games mentioned here are funny then you're dead inside.

I think he was lamenting that there are so few funny games out there, that he's already played all of them.
A sentiment I share :(

while both good games, they didn't make me chuckle at all. they both seemed very simplistic when it comes to humour, like a kids cartoon almost. "look, a funny looking character says something funny! and farts! hahaha, oh boy aren't you having a blast?"
[/turninggoodthreatsintoflamewars]
You obviously didn't spend much time exploring the non-plot essential conversation trees with the kids and agents, and must have answered all the questions as you were supposed to rather than clicking other options. As with all Tim Shultz [er...Shaefer] games, most of the good humor was a bit off the beaten path.
edit: I think we're talking about two different Psychonauts games here. The one I'm referring to was created by the Peanuts cartoon guy, apparently. =/

*insert Aja and GoW recommendation in 3... 2... 1...*
Well, perhaps not. Just kidding, man. ;) Also: Escape from Monkey Island was pretty funny, but I think Curse of Monkey Island had some of the more hilarious lines.
Guybrush: You're about as fearsome as a doorstop.
Murray: Is it a really evvvil-looking doorstop?
EDIT: About Psychonauts, fett's a 100% correct - going through the game by just playing it safe 'n quick is a good way to miss a lot of the humour. Simply put: try everything. On everyone.

Anyone mention Star Control 2? It's got some genuinely funny dialogue, and it's free.
