Cardia, this is how I'd import that object (and centre it, which is also useful):

Note that my inputs are displayed in the bottom left corner. Ignore "F9": that's my Fraps record key. Also ignore the message 'Last: Add Cube'.
Terra, does that object have a material?
If it does, check its texture filename. The texture you see in the UV window won't necessarily match the material texture, but the latter is the one used by the Dark Exporter.

Many thanks Robin, i try to follow your steps. I´ll get back here later...
Cardia on 2/12/2016 at 17:31
Robin i was able to delete the cube and have the object visible this time, but i had to update the file, because the previous was corrupted that´s why i couldn´t have the crate to appear, now what i don't understand is why in your tuturial you have already the crate with the texture, how did you apply the texture? and how will you save the object in a way to place the textures inside the folder "txt16" or "txt"?
Ok, so i was able to do this:

https://s15.postimg.org/onzon4u9n/dump058.jpgi followed the first Russian video tuturial.
but do i have to writte the texture name in the blue area here?:

ok so i took the liberty to do some changes in the texture :cheeky:

Somewhere above in this thread there is a warning I believe that you cannot just import resources (objects and textures mainly) into Thief from other games without the permission of the owners of those resources. If not there should be one from the moderators ....

In any event, that is illegal. And you cannot discuss such at this forum. Doing so can get you kicked off the forum. So you do have permission to use these objects, right?
Tannar on 3/12/2016 at 15:48
Larry is correct. I hadn't seen this or would have mentioned it before now. If you've obtained permission to use this material, then we need some verification of that. If not, this can't be condoned or discussed here.
Squadarofl on 3/12/2016 at 16:32
Forbidding discussion about how to rip and all is a fact but I certainly hope you're not forbidding us to use resources from others games :o
Tannar on 3/12/2016 at 17:41
The law is what forbids you to use resources from other games without permission, or unless they have been released to the public for that purpose. But what you do in that regard is between you and your conscience. However, we don't condone such behavior on these fora, nor do we allow discussion of it. I'm leaving this thread here as it is for the moment so that the participants have a chance to see it and respond, but unless there is some evidence that they have permission to use these resources, I'll be removing the discussion of it from this thread.
