No. :)

Furthermore!
I've often thought that Randy left because he was fighting to get the PC users their end of the bargain at the last minute and lost. Warren said *no* cutting corners to make it work. There is absolutely no reason why Deadly can't play on a PC with no Load Zones. It would have taken extra time to finish and they just wanted to cash in. I realise that it is well over and done with, but the feelings remain. Guess I should silence myself now, before I get in too deep. :p

Well, fanboys like BR796164 don't realize this. Instead they drone on how much the developers implemented to make us (their fans) happy. Even though it is obvious that this never happened. LOL.
Of course it seems there were SOME developers, but I doubt that this were the ones with much to say in project matters.

You seem to be quite slow on uptake, for a programmer.

Console titles usually don't have too many in-game configuration options, because a XBOX is the same hardware for everybody and the devs know exactly what hardware they are developing a game for. Of course they COULD make the PC version which would, but, hahah, who would be spending additional money on that? That's matter of dry economical decisions of the publisher - ‘Can we afford to risk and spend more money on development of the PC version or not?‘ They have decided against additional expenditures and whether we like it or not, they probably had some good reasons.
Oh, but I'm sorry. You are Mr. Big Programmer (or at least you think you are) and God forbid some laic would have at least little grain of truth in discussion with you, right. Too bad that in your extensive effort to oppose my arguments on purpose you're starting to contradict yourself.

Here's an idea - why don't you actually make some effort to logically refute other people's points, rather than just stating how obviously right you are and how everybody else is stupid for not agreeing with you?
Rogue Keeper on 13/2/2006 at 10:15
What if the other side is immune to logical explanations in the first place?
I say: "I know T3 is not perfect..."
Opponents say: "The T3 is not so perfect as you seem to think. "T3 has bad configurability. Bad Bad Bad."
I say: "Yes. Bad in-game configurability."
Opponents say: "...BUT bad in-game configurability doesn't matter because average users don't care about configurability."
I say: "Why do you complain about bad configurability then? They could improve the PC version, but that would demand additional expenses."
Oponents say: "But fanboys like you don't realize this!"
Yeah. Very logic.
But I'm quite glad I don't have position of a frustrated whiner who can't find any positive thing on Thief 3.

Actually it is quite the opposite. I'm quite happy that TDS sucks so bigtime, because it gave me the opportunity to start my own game. if TDS were better I doubt I would have started this. :)
If I were a frustrated whiner, as you claim, then I would just post here in this forum, like some others do *HINT* and wouldn't do anything about it. ;)

I nominate this as one of the most malicious quotes this Thief community has ever seen. It's closely followed by "XBox is still a Windows PC after all."
You know well you could start your own project even if T3 was a flawless game.
You have whined in this thread quite enough. It's actually a good strategy.
Blame the official project to hell where you can, to excuse existence of your own project. Fine, that's your exclusive right, if you think it's the best way. No matter, it still sounds like whining on purpose.

What the hell are you talking about? According to (
http://www.xbreporter.com/xbox_system_specifications.php) this URL, the X-Box runs "Windows 2000 Core OS (Custom designed by MS)" which sounds a lot like a version of Windows to me.
There is nothing "malicious" about correctly describing a system specification.

MALICIOUS? Oh yes, the predjudice...the hatred. The government should really silence people who make such malicious claims against minority video games. You really haven't spent much time in the real world if you consider someone dissing a bloody 'game' a malicious quote. Calm down and get a grip on yourself. Why would anyone bother to start a Thief inspired Mod if the game itself had been flawless? There would have been no need.
