Hmm, I guess you have a good point.
What about if you put the word NewDark into the title instead then?

That's actually a good idea. Keep the same version number (1.21) but change it from "Final" to "NewDark Final" instead. That would make it clear. I'll make those changes :)
Made the changes, because of the limited room, replaced "Final" with "NewDark" instead of just adding it. When NewDark version goes past 1.37 (if it does,) I'll put the Final back in and remove the NewDark notice.

So we now have 2 versions of NewDark 1.21 - the "official" one and one that you have modified? That will be confusing.

I think we even have 3 if we count the modified one from GOG's Thief Gold latest releases.
That's indeed gonna make things confusing for whichever scripts which rely on the executable's hash to identify it…

the GOG exe is identical with the one from TFix (icon swap, nothing else). the GOG version of TG is essentially running a lite version of TFix.

Well, there IS that bold part in his post. I think he should make that sentence even larger and put it at the top of the post. Also, the thread could be renamed to "Cosmetic Changes to NewDark Executables" or something like that.

OK, added another file. This is just the fix DML files for the miscounting secrets in T2X - Shadows of the Metal Age (for those that like that great expansion.)
EDIT: Oh, and I cannot figure out a way to change the title as asked to specify "cosmetic" changes. Though now it also has functional changes to FMSel, and actual fixes for T2X. I think I make it clear in the text that the EXE file changes are purely cosmetic because I hate the aesthetics of it. Is there a way to change the Title(s), both in the list and of the first post, to say something on the lines of "Improved FMSel, Cosmetic Changes, and Various Fixes" might make it a little more clear what I'm offering. And if I make any other fixes available in the future, no more changes to title would be needed. :)

Thanks!

To change the title of the thread click on the Edit Post button on the bottom of your original post. IIRC, there should then be a button on the resulting page that says Advanced. Click on that. You'll get a more detailed edit post page and at the top of the page you should see the title field. You can change the title there.

Thanks... I just assumed from it's location (under the text entry box next to preview & save,) that it just gave access to advanced editing features of the text box only. Never even thought to click on it.
Anyways, Titles changed to be a bit more accurate :)
