No one called you stupid. The idea is, don't let any people in from countries that are known to export terrorism. Because some will try to kill Jews and other French people.
If you have to deploy an army inside your own borders to defend yourselves, then that means you've let the invading enemy inside already! Better to keep the enemy out in the first place!
And if other muslims don't want to point out the troublemakers, then you have no choice but to keep out all muslims period.

Wow. Yes, lets enforce nationwide racial segregation because some of them might be terrorists. While we're at it, lets just round up all the ones that are already there into camps to keep everyone safe.

The mind boggles. So, my Lebanese wife ought not to have been let into the country because Hezbollah exist in Lebanon and sometimes go elsewhere?
Glad people like you are considered a crazy minority over here.

You rudely insult me by calling me crazy now?
The first duty of a government is to protect its people from foreign invaders. It's pretty clear that the French government didn't follow this when it imported thousands of potential jihadists to murder your cartoonists, police etc.
I'm sure your wife is a fine person, but letting her in, and letting half of Algeria/Morocco in, are two different things. I would rather protect the native French from possible murderers, instead of opening your borders to the whole world.
And Nicked, it's not "segregation." Segregation would be: Muslims in this part of town, everyone else lives in another part of town (actually I'm pretty sure many European countries have this situation already!). If you strictly control immigration in the first place, there is no huge foreign population to "segregate."

For a muslim, what's in first place: being a muslim or being a person?
What's in first place, freedom of speech or religion?
Why the fucking hell can't a muslim girl or woman speak to me when I'm on the street or play around with my sons at school?
Freedom to not be free? No, thanks!

What about the Muslims already living there? Are they ok to stay, or kick them out and make them stateless as many of them are French citizens.
As were the two who shot up Charlie Hebdo's HQ.

I'm sure anyone who listens to this (

A terrorism commentator in the US claimed Birmingham is a "Muslim-only city" where non-Muslims "don't go". Steven Emerson's sweeping statement on Fox News prompted bemusement - and amusement. So what is real life like in Birmingham?
(

I had no idea that jihadist was something engraved in passports.

Well the often given "reason" for Muslim terror attacks is that Muslims feel oppressed, second class, in poverty, beaten down by racism in France and other European countries.
So, it's probably better for them to go back to a Muslim country where they can be around people like them, and not have to deal with racist Frenchmen, Frenchwomen with unveiled faces, and other such problems.
You raise a good point that the two assassins were born in France. The attacks could have been prevented if their parents
weren't allowed into France. If this generation is radicalized enough for mass murder, what will the next generation do? They are already imposing their cultural and religious standards on the French - with only 9-10% of the population. As their numbers grow and they feel more powerful, more demands will follow.
Either way the first step is to shut off all further immigration. To be honest I think that as long as one single French person is unemployed, why let in a single immigrant anyway? Let the native French folks have the jobs. And as a bonus, you didn't bring in another possible jihadist murderer!

Wait, you'd ban someone entry to a country based on what their children, who haven't even been born yet, might do?
nickie on 13/1/2015 at 23:03
You know, Krush, out of all the attacks that have been made on me and there have been quite a few in various parts of the world, not one was by a person of a different colour, none were because of religion though one might have been because of nationalism, it was impossible to know but guess what, they were all by men, white men. So, let's ban all white men. Seems like a good idea to me.
Which is obviously ridiculous. I don't see your proposal as any different. You don't know and you can't tell who is going to be dangerous and harm you and who isn't. It's only actions that prove that, not religion, colour or any other excuse to demonize people.
