The submission needed to be in Vancouver by the 14th at noon. Since i live a good 11 hours away from vancouver, i needed to send it off friday afternoon. Which i did, and hence why i was bale to post the competed document yesterday =D

Eheheheheh.
Trust me, if i had actual game making skills, was over 19, and didn't live on the other side of the country, i WOULD apply. Nothing better than to work on the newest iteration of my favorite series and make sure they don't screw it up.
Sadly, i don't graduate high school till june.
However, i HAVE been accepted to start at the art institute of vancouver in july, hence the scholarship, to get a degree in game design. I also have snagged an internship working on a game called "Citadel of Sorcery" as a level designer. You should check that out if you get the time, its rediculously innovative.

Man, you are going to have to stay in touch (until you sign that contract against talking to people). We gotta get more of us on the inside, but not so spread out. Hmmmm....:joke:

Why don't we be real thieves, and falsify some documents and whatnot that would allow us to apply as "financial consultants." Heh heh...

So you're just 19 and you're already practicing. And you're going to study in this direction. This all sounds very good. Actually, I'm a little envious. There are no game design schools around here, and all the professionals are self-learners (and it shows).
Sorry about the harsh bits. They were meant to be useful, rather than unpleasant. If the contest put a 10 pages limit, then they probably didn't expect a technical description.

Oh, trust me, the harsh bits were in every way helpful. Nothing is more useful than criticism, in my mind, as long as it isn't "This sux, newb".
And only just turned 18 last month, actually. :cheeky:

Well, happy belated birthday, young MAN!

Aye! A taffer my own age (ok, I'm a few months older, lol), how awesome. Most of the people I talk to on here are old enough to be my father, or in some cases, my grandfather! :cheeky:
