Hmmm... Let me see
Constantine : Chistopher Lee, he is very good in LOTR and StarWars.
Garrett: Definitely Viggo Mortensen, just think of the scene where he is sat in the corner smoking a pipe in the Prancing pony in the fellowship... he'd be perfect he has got the whole dark and broody thing going on.
Victoria: Liv Tyler or Franka Potente?
Benny: That guy who is in those awful Ernest films, know who I mean? whats his name?
Basso: Any Baldwin
Cutty? : Danny Devito?
Which storyline would they go with? thief 1, thief 2? or something entirely new?

Jim Varney, although that's gonna be tough. He's dead.
Viggo Mortensen, Christopher Lee, Liv Tyler... why not just through Orlando Magic and Sean "Rudy" Austin in there, if we're gonna crib the whole LotR cast?

Speaking of Dead Guys Who Could Play Benny, my toss into this ring would be Chris Farley.

1. campbell is not a movie god, just an entertianing actor.
2. Keanu as Garret, quit taffin' around. UGH! I don't type-cast him from Bill and Tedds. If I did, i might like him better. But his acting really is poor. And I thought this to also be true in the Watcher.
3. don't you dare put Liv in this film. Another Aerosmith video, sure, but please not this.
:bored:

It just bothers me when I hear people holding Campell up as some sort of Movie god just because he has had some cheesy B-movie that was "so bad, it was good." When really, it wasn't. It was really, really bad. A classic, maybe, but still really bad.
Hey, now, don't knock The Evil Dead! I suppose everyone has their own tastes and I respect that, but keep in mind that The Evil Dead was a fairly revolutionary film at the time it was made and remains sort of a blueprint for horror today. In fact, it's actually required viewing for film majors and is still shown in some film classes to this day. Low budget? Yes... A little campy with questionable acting? Perhaps.. Really, really bad? No f*#king way!

No, it's bad. It's shown as an example of how sometimes bad can be so extreme that it ends up good.

Originally posted by SneaksieBum As for Viktoria, the Mistic from X-Men should do it, because she is tall, hot, and used to wearing latex suits! :cheeky:
Just for clarification, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (a model, for those of you who didn't know) played Mystique in X-Men. She did not wear a latex suit, or any suit at all for that matter. That costume was painted on her body, 100% makeup. It was really the only way they could do the costume and allow Rebecca to be true to her character's martial arts ability. A suit would have been too restrictive. Yet another reason she could do Viktoria... (she's blonde, but that can be changed...)

I haven't really been paying attention, but people seem to be throwing out half-assed opinions in regards to casting a Thief movie. I can do that.
But didn't we already do this?
Garrett: Toughest pick of all. Jason Statham, maybe, although I don't know if he could maintain the presence. Russell Crowe, perhaps. Jurgen Prochnow comes to mind as well.
Viktoria: Andrea Thompson would probably be my first pick, but maybe Gina Gershon instead.
Constantine: Joss Ackland. This one is easy, he's the man for the job.
Cutty: Jon Voigt, possibly Danny Glover if he could tone it down a bit for this one.
Basso: I like Vincent D'Onofrio for this one.
As for the rest, I suppose it depends on where the story goes.

Thank you. I've been trying to remember Jason Statham's name all day. He would be good at this, as long as you don't look at "The Transporter" or "The One." He is a real life street kid that grew up without parents and shelter. Sure, his voice may be raspy, but he definatly is cool and dark enough to play Garrett.
Look at "Snatch." Good movie, there.

Deadman, you've got the right idea. Trent Reznor might go for Garrett straight away, I'm just not too sure about his voice, but I bet I've got a suitable dubber for him: Al Jourgensen from the Ministry.
Boy, talk abot creepy, harsh voice!
