The only way a Thief movie could please Thief fans and still be a hit in theaters is if it's done in anime by the guys who did 'Metropolis'. Any attempts to make a Thief movie with real actors is doomed to produce a week and cheesy piece of garbage a-la "Resident Evil'.

Tim Roth would make a perfect Garrett. the only problem might be the voice, but short of getting Stephen Russell to play Garrett (which would also be perfect), i don't think you're going to get the voice exactly right.

onslaught was stephen russel the guy who did garrets voice in the game? well who ever it was is a genius! his voice is cooool, and smooth.
also i think they picked toby mcguire cos he's had practice at scalling walls!! does look 2 young tho! what about the guy out of american physcho? he's got a cool voice and has a presence about him! or maybe neo from the matrix! he's also got a fairly cool voice, but then again the viewers will probably still see him as neo!! also the obvious garret would be that aragorn dude! actually he's deffinatly the one they want!
