sorry, if that has been said before. If they take Tobey Mcspiderthingy, than it should not wonder us, should it? look at all those other films, they made from pc-games... they all suck, don't they?
I personally will not watch a thief movie. That can only go horribly wrong and it wont be done (making a thief movie) for other reaspns than comercial ones.

im sorry. Garrett without that famous voice of his is not garret. But here is an idea. Doesnt stephen russell look close to garret? Why not just cast him.

True. I should have said "Perfect choice from a list of big name, big screen actors." Depp can probably do the voice since he is a very talented actor. Film execs would probably shy away from casting Stephen Russell since they think of ticket sales, not established fan community happiness.

I would prefer and animated movie myself; the full length feature movie(s) should be using the artistic genius of the games' movies. This way you can keep Russels voices easy, and be differrent from the usual Holywood/Disney garbage.
