It's finger lickin' good when you gas the chicken first.

India does a whole variety of culturally ill-advised branding. Hell, we even have a hospital named NiGA, and no one thought to tell them, 'Hey, you know, that may be written like an acronym, but it's still a bad idea.'
This is probably a tiny local effort to take a random name and do a quick branding refresh, and the internet's picked it up and now it's some full-blown drama. I don't see a problem with licking Hitler's crunchy cones, personally; he's too dead to mind anyway.

This kind of thing happens all the time: communist chic is a branding strategy in western countries, even though its ideology has killed several millions, and impoverished even more. Nobody would bat an eye if someone named a product, music club or grill restaurant Genghis Khan, although his armies have decimated the population of multiple countries (killing 40-50% of Hungary's inhabitants in a single year), and been known for unspeakable cruelty. People on the Internet think the Remove kebab song is funny, not nauseating and horrific.
Time, distance and lack of knowledge simply make people care less. To the people who created this badly branded product, Hitler is as far away as the examples above (they might have much stronger opinions on the Indian Partition). The only reason we even get to hear about it is due to our super-connected world.
All in all, it rates a "stupid but meh" on the outrage scale.

I'm offended that a figurehead of the vegetarian movement has been misused to advertise products that harm animals. For this heads of lettuce will roll in a fine balsamico dressing.

I think lack of education on what the man did in certain countries might be a cause of it.
Now as to communist chic, I read that the reason it was more tolerated in the west is because communism claimed to have good intentions behind their crimes, they committed genocide in the name of the 'people', of making the world a better place, equality, all that. Whereas the Nazis made it clear they wanted a good portion of the world's population dead or enslaved so they could take their land and resources

As if Hitler weren't bad enough, this may very well be the creepiest thing I've ever seen:

"I kill women, I like to hear them scream. I chop them up into little parts and put them in a bucket-- HE HEE! I'm back, America!"
