Information Window / User Name ?

Hey guys, I'm guessing here but believe that the user name in the information window is there as this information is used to create a file that identifies the creator of the map ? Is this the case ? Also is there a character limit as I have removed the ; in my DromEd.cfg before the user Garrett2014 command and even after saving and restarting dromEd it fails to appear in the info window ! Do i need to start a new map ?

(where My Name is your name!) Removing the semi-colon (;) uncomments the line. Now when you save the mission, it will be stamped to say that you created it.

Yea Thats what i did! Its not working though :/ Does the map info update once only when you first make it perhaps ?

The "created by" tag is set the first time you save it, and cannot be changed outside of hexediting the .mis file.
The "last saved by" tag should update each time you save it with a name configured.

:/ That's not happening Namless One. Is it only the dromed.cfg that needs editing ?

Works for me. You need to save the mission before the info window information will be written.

Ahhh And let there be light. I saved a new mission and my name displayed next to both criteria. I then loaded the cow and re-saved it as a mission and it displays my name on the latter criteria. Thats cool im still learning and this is only a practice map. Thanks for your help guys.
