I keep seeing stuff I want to get but good God my gaming backlog is insane.
Can anyone compare to this? These are games that you can "finish" - I have others, like fighting games and MP strategy games that are essentially ongoing affairs too.

And there are games on the way out that I'm thinking "yes, must have it!". I've decided I'm not getting any sequels til I finish the originals so no more Assassins Creed or God of War or the GTA4 expansions.
I think I might have to ban myself from playing MP, especially Company of Heroes. It's possible to mess up your life in real life. I think I'm messing up my gaming life! WTF? Arrrrrrrgh!

My current backlog is a mix of new and old, games I've played and games I haven't.
First tier is the front burner, these are the games I am playing RIGHT NOW, off and on, or intend to play immediately after the current one (which is Fallout New Vegas):
Fallout New Vegas
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game (though I've kinda pounded through it three times on different characters)
Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut (was about time for a replay)
Then there's the middle burner, these are the games I've got lined up for the next few months, but I want to get the front burner stuff done first, and I haven't decided what order I'll play them.
Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Arx Fatalis
Torchlight
Arcanum
Shank
Mass Effect 1, possibly 2
Deus Ex Human Revolution (probably a replay of Deus Ex 1 right after)

On PS3, still gotta finish Killzone 2 and Little Big Planet, and then I'll probably grind away at Just Cause, Gran Turismo for ages.
My steam backlog includes Dead Rising 2, Bad Company 2, Crysis+Warhead, Bionic Commando, Borderlands, STALKER+Pripyat, New Vegas, and Metro.
I'm not buying any games this year.

I am currently working my way through these as well. Finished the first one yesterday. I'd forgotten what a good game that is. The combat is awesome, and the story gets pretty dark towards the end when you start finding out what the Armatech scientists did to Alma. Then I started Extraction Point, spent about an hour with it before getting bored. Started Perseus Mandate today, that one is slightly better. Think I'll skip XP, but play PM before I move on to the sequel.
