My backlog is almost empty, and they are games I will probably never end up finishing (Red Ocean and Splinter Cell DA are the only ones off the top of my head.).
It is really nice to be in this situation when 2011 is full of games I'm interested in.

Currently have six games on my backlog-list, but two of those are merely replays (with added/extra content) and one is abandoned (loss of interest), making them low-priority.
That narrows my backlog-list down to a very reasonable three* new titles.
My anticipation-list for this year, however, already has a solid dozen titles -- and they tend to migrate insidiously into my backlog-list on a quarterly basis!

I've been closing up my gaming backlog along with my reading backlog. My gaming backlog extends back to the Playstation era, so yeah.
@Enchantermon: That is crazy, although I can assure you that not all of those are worth playing. The first Painkiller was great, including the expansion. The sequels suck.

From what people write I get the impression that Overdose sucks less than Resurrection though, I only played the OD demo out of them so I couldn't say for myself.

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt there are some duds, but again, they were all really cheap. I got Overdose and Resurrection in a combo pack for $5, iirc. And anyway, I wouldn't have gone for them if I wasn't at least interested.

Dude, DoW 2 is awesome. I just beat the campaign in co-op with a friend online. My favorite RTS of all-time. I need to get Chaos RIsing and the new exp. coming out next month.
