Then Koki shows up and basically brags he gets laid all the time (or has been laid at least once) without saying such, because, heretofore unbeknownst to us all, he's actually quite the master of subtlety.
So here I come back to this thread hoping to read a drive-by flame with the rough message of "Then how you will play videogames kokes?" but I guess dethtoll is still asleep?
Either way, truly a thread full of failed expectations.

Thread Summary:
I FORGOT MY PASSWORD.

I was expecting this thread to be about a new form of DRM, that required you to have intercourse with one of the developers every time you wanted to use their software.

Let me see if I've got this straight here...
So I come into this thread expecting to read an article about how science has found some new way to keep the trailer trash sluts I usually date from cheating on me...
I was thinking it was some crazy WiFi monitored chastity belt.
CCCToad on 9/4/2011 at 15:56
Yeah, stupid on my part, but not really the point.
The point is that my access to games should depend on whether I effin paid for the games, not on whether I can access some online service.
Renzatic on 9/4/2011 at 16:27
So...despite your misgivings about DRM, and knowing full well that Steam was an online platform that made it glaringly obvious it requires a password and the occasional online check to access your games, you went ahead and used the service anyway? And now that you've managed to lose your password, you're feeling completely victimized, and have to shout out to the world how unfair the DRM scheme you willing subjected yourself to is?
I dunno, man. I'm finding it kinda hard to feel sympathy for you at the moment. If it were over those few games that require you access Steam to activate, I'd be more inclined to feel sorry for you. But it sounds like you've made
all your recent purchases through it. And then lost your password. A password
you should've long since committed to memory, despite the circumstances.

Comeon. That would've been too obvious.

But if he had been doing the "right thing", he would have been changing his password every two weeks anyway for security's sake, right? right???
As more games require an on-line connection to enjoy, you can't really make the argument that people "willingly subject themselves to such a system." "Oh gee, I can either play a modern PC game, or I can stick to my morals and have no games at all."

Wait just a fucking minute. You mean you DON'T have to do that?

I play videogames almost every day, and my ass isn't as sore as CCCToad's because I can squeeze a Greyhound bus into a half-sheet of tin foil! :thumb:

I woke up at noon to find that it was very, very dark, so I thought it was midnight, so I went back to sleep.

Sure I can. You do it all the time. Why else do you talk endlessly about games that came out 10 years ago and/or run on Linux?
