Hello all.
This will likely be one of the more random requests you'll encounter, though it isnt very exciting.
My girlfriend (soon to be fiancee, I hope) recently went on a trip to Italy and lost a decorative key that she wears on a chain around her neck. She is hoping to have it remade, but I havnt the slightest idea who would do that (or what exorbitant price they would charge) , so I am hoping to find another online. She bought it in Germany from some souvenir shop. The key itself is nothing special. Its just soft steel (I think. It could be a different metal.), so I know there are many like it. The key is finding it! Pun very much intended.
Im putting this post in a few of the forums I frequent. Knowing that nothing is free, I'll send 50$ to the first person who finds a replica I can purchase. (Via paypal or money order) I am hoping to find one myself, but I know many eyes from around the world would be much more helpful.

I would think that a skilled jeweler could make one from the image if you gave them approximate dimensions. You could also surprise her with a trip to Italy or Germany and just find another one while you are there.

Good thing you shot a closeup of her bust before she lost it...
Anyway, this isn't exactly rare, there exist thousands of variations of this type of jewellery as you surly noticed. This makes finding the exact piece a lot harder. Might not even be sold online. (*audible gasp*)
Where in Germany did she buy it?

It might possibly help to know where this souvenir shop was. If the key is tied to a particular place, like a town or a castle, the hunt could be a lot easier.

@mxleader - I would love to be able to surprise her with a trip to Germany, but I dont have that much money floating around. :-) Im in Canada and she is in Russia, so she'd have to get a visa, bla bla bla. Its an affair, to be sure!
@Kolya - The picture is cropped. :-) I figured it would do to be posting pictures of my girlfriend around the internet... Anyways, I know there are many out there that are similar. And I know its a long shot, but thats why Im asking for help. It would be great if someone happened to find one, and I dont mind paying for that help! :-)
@Hopper - Im 80% sure it was bought in Berlin. I'll find out more specifically when I talk to her today.

I had thought she got it from a souvenir shop, but it was from some accessories store called SIX. Their website doesnt show much, but since she bought it a few years ago, its unlikely that they still sell it. The store exists in other European countries too, so I dont have to restrict myself to Germany...

You know what, go to an antiques shop, buy an old cupboard key and get a nice leather band. Costs: $2 max.
If you steal the key you can get away with 50 cent and have a story to go with it. Girls like boys doing criminal things for them.

Im looking for that specific key, not a similar one. A similar one is something I can find. As for girls liking bad boys, well, we're both about ten years past being 16. :-)
