Found out that Matthew "sajon77" Weiss left his job there, but I hope he can do more of these someday. He was cautiously optimistic about it, but that was before he moved on.

I certainly hope so. I shot him an email awhile back asking if he could track down Steve Pearsall to do an interview. It would be great to hear the perspective of the project lead for my favorite game in the series. Still lots of really talented folks at Looking Glass that he's never spoken to on that podcast.

Agreed. Pearsall, Djawadi, Lizotte, Russell, Gilpen, Galpern, Wolff, Hart, Wells, Brown, LaMer, Duran, Barrett, Keranen, Caminos, Carollo, and Amarasingham... I'd be interested in hearing all of them talk about what they contributed and where they drew from and why, etc.

It was interesting to see this progression: Underworld -> Ultima -> Arx Fatalis -> dark Messiah.
Also funny when he did the Madden port finding AI code they did a decade earlier still in there.

Hopefully we'll get more interviews with LGS taffers, if MShade can wrangle up some meetings.

Since you're already registered there would you mind correcting the spelling of Garrett's name?
Petike the Taffer on 28/3/2013 at 17:48
Done. :thumb: I wanted to tease you by changing it to "Garrotte", but I opted for restraint instead. :ebil: :D ;)
On a related note : You guys can add some additional info on the studio, I really don't know that much of the specifics. Sure, the link to the interviews will provide some historical context for the company and its former employees, but you too can contribute some stuff I've definitely overlooked.
