Intro plays in circle- help, please!!!

i have a problem on my PC- whenever I want to play a Thef 3- The intro movie comes in and when i hit the escape button, after few seconds is there again- result is- game is inplayable. I have to hit Esc. almost every second.
Has anybodz know what to do?
My PC congiguration is: Athlon 64 bit 3800+, 1Gb Ram, geforce 7600 GTX 256MB graphic card. I have Windows Xp Professinoal 64x Edition, Service Pack 1.
