I didn't know Garrett was a religious saint. Heck. I learn something new every day :p

... the Builder's old-guard Hammerites have bloody inquisitors, and routinely torture, maim, and work to death the people that they've imprisoned in Cragscleft for breaking the tenents of their faith.
One of them being that stealing is wrong.
I dinnae think that you understand the nature of their relationship.

I would't want a Hammerite as a next door neighbour. The sounds of preaching and torturous screams from the heretics will not make me sleep easy :p

my old parochial school had something like that. it was called landmark baptist church. they constantly fought with our school because we were "immoral catholics" or something like that.
the school has a haunted house (using an old house that was formerly a dormitory) every october and the students are often drafted to help out with parking. one year i was in the lot and this old lady drove up to me and told me that i was "basking in sin".
since it was a school for the deaf i just said "WHAT?" as loudly as i could. repeatedly.
i hear she still comes up to berate the students.

Hahahaha. Class! I like the sound of the haunted house though. Very Thiefy, I daresay! :thumb:
That old woman sounds as if she needs to get out more. I wonder if she would like to go to a Slayer concert? :ebil: :ebil: :ebil:

So, I just spent some time reading this thread thoroughly.
I'm putting the chances of SolidAndShade ever coming here again down at about 0.1%.
Nice theories, though.

About that...
Apart from the reports (which speak for themselves), I sometimes wonder if the City Watch examiners set up the bodies to match the "crimes." Not necessarily killed, but staged convincing mutilations on random bodies postmortem and such). It's a chilling thought I can't help but ponder on every time I play
Framed.
