Where do some items go to when you pick them up with an already full inventory? I often wonder where some items dissapear to after picking them up only to be shocked by having them re-appear later in the demo after I've consumed some other items. Unfortunately, I have missed out on trying a variety of items, such as a weapon mod, due to this problem.

Some items don't take up inventory space - weapons mods are one of those. Biomods and upgrades will be another I assume.
Just check a weapons' mods and you'll be able to install one if it's available and is compatible with that weapon.

The mod is there there -- and mods don't work for every weapon. For example, the glass vibrator mod ONLY works for the shotgun.
To equip a mod:
equip the weapon
press tab
select mod
enter.

Humbug, worked fine on mah trusty pistol.

Really? Didn't try the pistol.
I always toss the pistol to make room for the bowcaster. I love the tranq/toxin darts :D

Yeah, it works for the pistol.

From what I can tell, the glass melting mod works on most projectile weapons. I haven't tried it on the SMG yet. *Marks it down on list of things to do next*
