It's not possible to kill this haunt by using fire arrows, but is possible by using flash bombs. What's the heck?
EDIT: Is possible to kill this haunt by shooting to floor.

Yes.

yes, this is exactly how the bug works - the AI cannot be hit directly, but splash damage will damage it, that means holy water splash, flashbombs, or a nearby explosion.
anyway, I was able to replicate the issue - it seems like this can sometimes happen when the AI gets into a bad creature position (the broken haunt collides with the other one at the moment the save has been created). not sure whether this can be prevented - we'll see.
@JDR13: either kill the haunt with splash damage, or I can repair the save for you if you want.
@bassoferrol: as ZB correctly pointed out, you are having a different issue, I'd like to hear more (but do post in the TFix topic, would you kindly).

There is an inactive zombie in this second save near route to this killed crayman. Only need to hit this zombie by sword - impossible to make him as lying. Why this happened?

zombies are broken, that's something we will have to live with.

i had something happen that scared me and i am not the type to be scared
i was playing brethrens fan mission and when i got to lower area right before you jump the metal railing there was a zombie that did not move his body but his head tracked my movements,so i zoomed in on it face as i moved around and i swear it was really watching me,more then any other npc ever has, made me wonder if some how it was aware of its surrounding and was in shock but the head was able to follow me around ,really freaky stuff
anyone have that happen?

I'll just kill it with flash bombs, thanks.
I'm glad I could contribute to learning more about the bug. On an unrelated note: are you still working on fixing candles so they show flames?
voodoo47 on 10/4/2014 at 21:32
you can also just wait a couple of seconds until the haunt clears the bad position, save, reload the new save, and that should solve the problem - as far as I can tell, this bug will only manifest when you save the game in the exact moment when some AI is in a bad position, and then reload that save, that's why it is so rare, because there are three conditions that need to be met. waiting for the AI to clear the bad position, then saving again, and loading the new save will reload its physics, fixing the problem. and yeah, that save really helped to shed light into things, so thanks for that.
as for the candles, I want to give the levels a good general overhaul first, but man there is just so much crap everywhere.

yes, a known glitch, happens when you slash a zombie when it's already falling to the ground ("dying"). just another of those weird Dark things.
