That looks cool as SHIT, Renzatic. I am totally on that one. Thanks.
@henke: I have seen several people playing that game on Steam, so I looked into it. Not sure what to make of it, the concept is a bit bizarre afterall, but I have been meaning to at least try it.

(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URrhSa_XfXk) TotalBiscuit did a WTF of it, saying that as it progressed random clicking turned out to be the way to win.

Yeah TotalBiscuit says a lot of stupid shit. Entertaining videos though.
You defenitely need to pay attention to what enemy or object you're up against if you're to progress. Make sure to use magic attacks on armored opponents and sword attacks on unarmored, match keys for chests and doors, etc. If you're not immediately finding the appropriate tool/weapon for an obstacle though, clicking around randomly is a good idea because something useful will often turn up.

Super Hexagon is a great idea but spoilt by touchscreen controls. I got to 26s, died because my thumb touched just outside the touch sensitive area.

You don't sound bitter at all :). Was that on your phone or a tablet?
I've not had the same issue on my Galaxy Tab but (I don't think) my thumbs move much while I'm playing it. On the easiest difficulty I've got to 39 seconds once but on the whole I tend to die in the 20-25 second range depending on the pattern that happens to show up. I'm still enjoying it as a game to spend a few minutes with now and then but I've no chance of matching the playing from Shadowcat's video above.

I'm not bitter at all. Its just a fact. I don't get bitter about stuff like this :) It was on my phone (Galaxy Nexus) but I stuck it on my Nexus 7 and I'm doing much better - I must die 10% of the time on my phone just because of thumb fail. I die 100% of the time on my Nexus 7 because I suck!
You really need to in the zone to play this. I've found playing it on the hardest level (where I only last 5s max) makes the normal level seem really slow!

I've just started playing Might Magic Heroes Clash Random Sequence Words on the iPad and I'm enjoying it quite a bit, although I expect that like the Heroes of Might and Magic games it'll kick my arse before long. The cutesy anime style belies the complexity of the strategic/puzzle gameplay. Apart from anything else, though, it looks like there's a lot of game for very little money.

Totally agree on both points. The "zone" for me is where I'm not concentrating on it too hard but semi-distracted either by talking or thinking about something else. There have been a few other games (mostly casual) where I've had the same experience and it's not completely dissimilar to being on a car journey where your brain takes over - still alert but you're not having to concentrate on every last detail.
I enjoy the second hardest difficulty level. The patterns are a bit more interesting than some of the early patterns in the lowest difficulty level without being quite as frantic as the hardest. I'm still terrible at it, however :)

Playing Plague Inc.
Interesting game; you evolve a pathogen in an attempt to wipe out mankind. You improve its routes of transmission, the symptoms (including how deadly it is) and also alter abilities that make it harder to combat like antibiotic resistance. Its an educational strategy game. Pretty cool.
