OT but does anyone notice how the iPhone is less and less bug-free with each update? On the latest, I sometimes can't call out without rebooting my phone, and two of my neighbors have the same experience.

3.1 and its derivates have been pretty crap, yeah.

yeah, it's definitely worth a dollar.
My only complaint about the dual-joystick simulation controls (in general) is that i find the natural oil from my thumbs can create too much resistance on the smooth screen. I need like a really thin acrylic glove or something. Actually, just coming in out of the cold right now my hands feel excessively dry—perfect time for iphone gaming

One of my all time favorites has been ported to the iPhone: Reflection's (

Driver.
Great port, even enhanced some parts: toggleable difficulty (easy|original), training is now optional (and much easier), new textures plus radio stations.
It seems to use the same driving aids the original had, so it's best played using the keyboard-like d-pad controls. It plays amazingly well.

Also noteworthy is the (

Appvent calendar 2009.
It has been giving away some high quality games the last few days. Worth checking out.

It's tempting, but I haven't found a video of it yet that convinces me it'll control as well as it did on the PC. Driver was all about precise movement. Is the accelerometer control usable? I've been playing the lite version of Real Racing and I'm getting used to that style.
Incidentally, they updated Lumines, and it works pretty well now.
