Jelly Car was kind of cool on the xbox but I don't think it looks like much fun on the iPhone.

Not shitty, it's an amazing piece of tech with fun applications, but it isn't particulary good at anything. Shitty batterylife for a phone, big for an I-pod, and weak for a handheld.

It's an excellent device for making a call, sending a text message, monitoring my email and checking the football scores on the 8th green of the golf course.

It may not excel in any area, but it does them all and does them well. It beats any other phone I've owned into the ground.

Just found out today that a (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/beneath-a-steel-sky-remastered-preview) port of Beneath a Steel Sky is going to be available soon!

Why get this when you can get the game (http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/) for (http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/) free? Well, the iPhone version is going to be 'remastered' with animated cut scenes, etc., plus you can look real poncy playing it on your iPhone on the move. :cool:

Let me use this thread to shamelessly plug an iPhone game that a friend of mine has worked on (he mainly did gameplay design and balancing which was explicitly praised in reviews, I was very happy to read that).

It's a 3D Tower Defense game, where the playing field is either a globe or a cube instead of a flat plane, and action takes place on all sides. According to reviews it blows new life into Tower Defense games, a genre which has gone stale lately.

Seriously, the selection of reliable smartphones is big enough. iPhone is leading not because of all it's locks, but because of admittingly strong service support - and marketing says it's unresistably hip. That's why the sarcastic nickname "GayPhone" is justified. It's about design, fashion and status in the first place, not about superior reliability/durability/adaptability.

Let's make a small endurance test, shall we. I'll dip my SE C702 into bucket of water and then I ask you to do the same with your iPhone. =)
