A movie about the invasion of the Moon-Nazis. And it's a Finnish production, which is very exciting for us. For decades we've been importing terrible actionmovies from the States, but now we can make terrible actionmovies all of our own! Yay!

Not every Finn got invited mind you ;) (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/markkermode) Kermode of BBC said pretty much what my thoughts were after the screening. I'm no film student or practitioner of the trade but editing could have been tighter. Some scenes were too long and messed up the pacing a bit. You have to see it yourself in 4 of April (in Finland)
After party was very nice though. Free drinks (I dont know why I'm NOT hung over this morning!) and Laibach performing :P
First (

I didn't remember the part that this was Finnish. It's true though. Aside from this I couldn't even name a single Finnish movie. Looking at a (
http://www.listal.com/list/really-good-finnish-movies) list didn't help. (And I even worked for a Finn before.)
On the other hand I knew plenty of Swedish & Danish films (or maybe that's to say I knew Bergman & von Trier movies).
Well at least that makes this movie worth something. There are plenty of countries I can't think of a single film from (but since me & my friends have been doing an int'l movie night that situation has been improving), but it means that even getting on the world's radar is sometimes an accomplishment.

By God, it'll be the greatest Finnish movie since The Day the Earth Froze!
