The Day the Earth Froze!
Isn't that just Winter in Finland?

I suppose in Mexico it would be: The Day the Earth Got a Sunburn, Diarrhea, and Some Good Tequila.
(A lot of Mexican movies are great though.)

The trailer makes me think of Sucker Punch in terms of the style of it. Sucker Punch was a god damned snooze-fest despite being so good on paper. I still to this day have no idea how they fucked that up.

Never actually saw Snakes on a plane. The main thing about that film I gather was that it was basically just ridiculous? That is not the case with Iron Sky (nazis from the moon, not ridiculous at all). It was just a little bit all over the place. There is bits of comedy and then all of the sudden it gets all serious theme wise I mean. Like the powerful ending, which I'm not giving away, could have been from another movie. Also I don't know how the comedy got blander than it was in Star Wreck.
Speaking of Star Wreck. If you have seen that flick don't go expecting similar experience! In that respect I think the trailer gives a bit wrong idea. At least for me it did. Then again I spoke about the trailer with my co-worker who has seen SW nor Iron Sky and he didn't see it like I did. It is so hard to speak of the film witout giving it all away! The two star rating of the review is wrong though. It is better than that.
I'll go see it again when it officially opens. Bubba Ho-Tep needed a second viewing before I could appreciate it fully.
