Levine's got such a goofy voice XD
Good run-through of the game by the creaters :D

It almost sounds like they mixed Thief up with System Shock with the submarine influence. No mention of Dark Camelot or Levine's role in setting it on the path to becoming Thief instead. The distance of time passed has muddled the memories a bit, but the funny "Kelsey Grammer" bit was new to me.
Thanks Dominus!
Both Alexx Kay and Robb Waters have those extra letters in their names. What a coincidence! :p

Cool pod-cast.
I liked that Stealth Fighter game they mentioned... Funny it would be mentioned, but it makes sense.

Very nice. Loved the bit about the ambiguity of enemies' reactions. Does he consider me a threat or is he just jumping at shadows?

Interesting listen for sure. It's funny how they connect a submarine simulator (of all things) with Thief, but it completely makes sense - stealth, remaining undetected, using tools to stay hidden, etc.
I also love the "some of the most tense moments in gaming, doing absolutely nothing" quote.

I would be happy with a direct English transcription. There's a sub-titled version of this video?

And did I get this right that Rob(b) Waters assumes to be Keeper Artemus while the vocie actor for TDS appears to be Nate Wells in all records? Or was it just "his character" in terms of creation?
jtr7 on 4/2/2010 at 11:56
Dan Thron and Nate Wells did the bulk of the Keeper voices for those that speak to Garrett at the critical times and endings. Nate Wells' character is Artemus while Dan Thron's Keeper remains unnamed. Putting two and two together, based on Emil's past comment regarding the Thief 2 Gold period and the original Thief 3 talks, and what Nate said here, Artemus was named at LGS, after T2 was done, before LGS shut down. The credits still call Nate's Keeper "Keeper Nate" for T2, and there's no name at all for T1/TG. Nate is easily identified as the Keeper in T1/TG's final cutscene, even though Dan Thron is doing the voice. Robb $ Caminos plays Garrett in that scene but is voiced by Stephen Russell. Dan Thron did the voice of the Keeper in charge of the trio that rescues Garrett before Escape! Nate Wells is the Keeper that discovers and recruits Garrett, and trains him. He's the Keeper (now officially known as Artemus) who spoke to Garrett about Eavesdropping after the Metal Age Prophecy, and warned Garrett about Viki's attempt at Soulforge, and the follow-up when it was over.

I never got the feeling that the Keeper who befriends Garrett throughout T2 is Artemus. It may be the same person doing the voice, but that Keeper sounds younger than the one from T1/TG.

I'm a bit confused by this - what exactly do you mean here? The scenes are animated - are you suggesting they were motion captured or something along those lines?
