Garrett's romantic forays usually end up with him at home with Jill. If you don't know who Jill is, I'm not telling you.
Rogue Keeper on 11/9/2007 at 13:46
Jill is his combat training dummy. Wait. You don't mean he's using his training dummy for...
That's disgusting!!! :eww:

Well since he can no longer have Viktoria, the dummy's the next best thing.

Garrett probably doesn't have much of a romantic life.
"I've always equated feelings with getting caught. They stand in the way between me and my money." This indicates he feels relationships are more trouble than worth.
I don't doubt he spends some of his cash on booze and whores though.

He's a psycho. Check that old Garrett's psychological profile by Grundbegriff.
Lovecraftian on 11/9/2007 at 15:25
I doubt he's a total psychopath. Psychos show complete apathy towards other people, and he definately feels something when Viktoria dies, and has a sort of friendship with Artemus.
Rogue Keeper on 11/9/2007 at 15:54
Psycho is just a laical term marking a wide variety of personality disorders.
You meant "schizoid". He may be a bit schizoid, as he's a natural born loner, but it doesn't mean he can't have any social contacts, even it had to mean just professional contacts. But it's doubtful whether he has any really close friendships - the games never show us. There is even some uneasy tension noticeable on him when he talks to Artemus. This is not how really good friends talk with each other.
I remember now about that Grundy's analysis, it was called A Glimpse of Garrett, unfortunately I can't find at the Circle anymore. Anyone dares to dig it up from somewhere?
Well, Grundie basically discovered that Garett is a kleptomaniac. He doesn't care about being really wealthy, he steals loot just for the sake of it. He likes the thrill his job brings, he likes to prove himself his superior thieving abilities and what more, he likes to being praised by thieves' community for his achievements.

He is also Basso´s friend.
Granted, he rescued him from prison just to score with his sister. But he also gave him a little help in the beginning of Metal Age. Ok, not totally altruistic help since he also wanted money from that mansion... But he is sort of benevolent to Basso since he could just ignore his fiancee and just rob the mansion.

Yeah; and the dummy won't slice out his other eye, either. :p

I imagine Garrett to be very shrewd and he has invested his money in Microsoft shares!
