is it possible to get a image off thief from the files?

i want to get one of the paintings from thief dark project=the picture of eve being tempted by the devil i want to know if it is possible to get the image from the file? and turn it into a .png

i already tryed to screen shot it in game but it is never angled the way i like it no matter how hard i try to zoom/etc

so i figured if the picture is in the game it must have a file i can get so i can display the image so i can save it for my own personal use=a desktop image/avatar image

See (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138314) this thread. There's a good chance the picture you want is an actual painting, in which case you'd be infinitely better off going to the source instead of the game files.

ok i found it ,its painting 25 on thief 2,but the quality is terrible literally looks like someone took a terrible in game screenshot of it

Actually, it literally looks like a professional graphic artist converted a high-quality scan into a low-res game asset using a fixed 255-color palette.

Looks like he's describing INTRUDE.GIF, which appears to be a satyr tempting a nymph, not the devil tempting Eve.

I think he may be referring to PICNIC.GIF actually.

Uploading that to Google image search finds no matches other than the ones related to Thief, so I suspect it's an LGS original.

you are correct intruder is the one i wanted,ty goldmoon dawn for posting link to it

What? The version from that link is still a 32x64 bitmap, exactly the same as you would have extracted from the game files.
