At least these threads give us a chance to reminisce about obscure old games.
Ah, Rune. I liked that. Maybe it wasn't a great platformer/brawler, but it did have a great sense of adventure. When you finally got back up to the surface after all the underground levels it really felt like an epic journey had been made.

It was not bad. FWIW I just didn't find it memorable - along with most 3D games from that period. I don't have many pleasant memories about those from late 2000 to 2001. Beyond T2, DX, NOLF and OFP, that is.

I enjoyed Rune back in the day. I saw it in Computer Exchange for 25p the other day. Took it to the counter, and the guy took 10 minutes to determine that they didn't actually have the disc. Happy was not I.
