Hmm, we need to set a date where most of us'll be on. Like a secret meeting, tho not so secret.

I agree

It would be cool to exchange some chat when we are working on the game, maybe making us see our growing works:
Server: chat.freenode.net
Ports: 6665 or 6667 or 7000
Channel: #Thief
Why would you choose a different network when a lot of the TTLG crowd are already
on Starchat? Even if #Thief isn't exactly about Thief any more.

No, it hasn't. You said you don't want to go to #Thief on Starchat, but that's no reason not to create another channel there.

The rooms is empty. And I'm gonna build a bridge for myself.

I try to relaunch the idea, because by now it's forbidden to talk about Thief in the starchat net (at least the last times I entered).

I didn't like what I saw when I went in there, either. If one general topic should always be welcome in a Thief chatroom, it's a Thief topic, and frankly, what I experienced was bizarre and I couldn't tell if it was hostility or mock-hostility against taffer-talk. Too Commchatty and GenGaming in there, like being a Thief fan on a Thief board is an invite to mockery, like a square nerd walking into a drunken frat party.

I don't see that happening in the old room.

Re-read that first line which you quoted.
There is more than one room on the Starchat network.
Most of the TTLG-related people are already on Starchat, whether it be in #Thief or in other channels. Because it's a lot less hassle to be in multiple rooms on the same network than it is to be on multiple networks. By setting up a channel on Freenode, you are precluding those people who are already on Starchat who might be interested, since most people won't bother with multiple networks.
There used to even be a #DromEd channel, though I don't think anyone goes there any more.
