Bane 1 -keep of Deceit (aug 2007) appears according to ricebugs walthrough to be almost a carbon copy of A keepers betrayal (march 2003) and the read-me file says Keep of Deceit was built on the base of Keepers betrayal , both FMs are by The Immortal Thief.....can anyone tell me please as to whether there are enough significant differences between the two, as to warrant them being considered 2 different missions to be included in an updated mission by type thread, or is Bane 1 - keep of deceit just an upgraded version of Keepers betrayal
thanks in advance

I'd say they're essentially the same missions over all. They have the same objectives and almost the same amount of loot. Bane 1 has a better ending than A Keeper's Betrayal though not to mention all the other cosmetic improvements and texture changes.

I just looked at both walkthroughs. Looks like the same missions to me, Bane 1 being "heavily modified."

thanks Terry....we have decided to remove Keepers betrayal from the updated MbyT thread as Bane 1 is we believe to be the updated version....i will post a note in the thread to refer people to play Bane 1 instead

Got the eye fixed that's been blind for 30+ years. Unfortunately, they don't synchronize--terrible double vision. More surgeries, most likely. Been missing all those 3D movies and not happy about it!

sorry to hear about that.....but you've been blind in 1 eye for 30 years...wow am i impressed that you have made so many great missions with such a disability....big respect to you, still it would seem a bit of a miracle if after 30 years of not working your eye would be 20/20 on first op, so hope all will be improved on next one....:thumb:
