Is there anything from the Thief reboot you would like to see realized in DromEd? - by Ceamonks890

Making a fat, heavy Garrett who can't swim anymore. He's drowning immediatly. Wait. That's already a modern feature in T3.

I'm not going to give the player rope arrows anymore. It's so annoying having to find the right spot on which to shoot them! Only placed ropes from now on.
Heheh. My upcoming mission starts you without rope arrows but you can still climb lots of stuff. Once you find them (you can find them in 3 different places), the rest of the city opens up for your pleasure and you can go almost everywhere you want.

I'm having trouble following this thread. Are we discussing the import of Thiaf/T4 game engine stuff into T2? It sounds like most Thief fans hate the new Thief for various reasons, but some want to see some of the new features reverse-engineered into Dromed.
Has anyone noticed there are no clanging sounds when Garrett walks on metal? Why would a Master Thief be sneaking around, wearing what sounds like horseshoes on his boots? Totally bogus.

This thread is dedicated to sarcasm. (at least from my part) I'm going to give the player a
lot of rope arrows! :D

I think it's about important (and advanced) features like tiny maps and tube-like, linear gameplay. Let's have a 'linear 64x64 cube contest' to try it out.
I bet I could simulate loading-zones using kdau-scripts.
