I want to know if most people here are running Thief 2 on Windows 7 to play all the fan missions and if so does Windows 7 work just as well as XP did with Thief2? I mean no issues at all like frame rate problems or random crashes or anything?

I've been running Win 7 for about 2 months I've had great luck so far.

Unfortunately, as with each new OS since after the games came out, some people have zero problems, and others never get it working. Most are in the middle, needing some help with tweaking to get it running. You won't know until you try on your own system. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator for best results, but there are no guarantees. A lot of newer issues have more to do with your graphics card, drivers, and game settings, than the OS. The most typical issues are mentioned in the FAQ, and asking for help is always a good option.

Tafferpatcher did a great job of installing Thief2 on my Windows7 64-bit laptop a few months ago. Played several of the OMs and some FMs since and haven't come across any problems yet!
