The suicide site of Martin Manley: (

(Yes, something else got posted earlier by a drunken accident...oops)

Something to be sad about.
matt4001 on 25/8/2013 at 09:30
None of the above, IMHO, other than slightly sad. I think considerate would be the word I'd use to describe him. I read the "Death" portion of his site, and however I looked at his reasoning for doing it, I couldn't make it sit right in my head.

In a way, I find it sadder that people will just skim through it. At least now though I know the sort of people who write reviews on IMDB.
God speed.

Well the main site is back up but, dear god, this guy is overly wordy. I guess it's kind of fitting, and he is (was?) sixty, but seriously... curate your shit if you actually want people to read it :/ For those who don't want to plow through all the pages, the reason for it in a nutshell:
Quote:
... the major reasons adults commit suicide – health, legal, financial, loss of loved ones, loneliness or depression… none of those issues are relevant to me ... I decided
I wanted to have one of the most organized good-byes in recorded history and I think I will be successful.
An... interesting concept. I'm reading on

It's ok to spread racist propaganda on YT and you can go on and on about Near Death Experiences but let's not talk about dying.
That's because people don't die any more, they pass or something.
Anonymous have put it up (
http://martinmanley.org/index2.html) here.

Well it was the very last thing (besides putting a bullet in his head) that he was going to do. What'd you want him to leave behind as a testament--a fortune cookie for fucksake?
You know, come to think of it, that Tolstoy guy was a wordy piece of shit, too.
SubJeff on 26/8/2013 at 12:25
It's brilliantly sad.
So, so sad. The history of his life... wow.
What's amazing is everyone has such a history. This site is like a testament to the beauty of life.

Now that's a
bit harsh :p . Not that Yakoob's comment wasn't.
But why bring up Tolstoy?
