yeah i just remembered i like the mission song of the caverns=do to a music themed mission
but i think thief 1 was better in layout
never liked the idea of how they did the 4 talismans in thief gold

You mean you didn't like having to do four missions to get four talismans? I feel exactly the opposite. The Dark Project felt rushed having two talismans in a single mission. The Lost City wasn't that bad, but I though it was lame that you get two of them sitting right next to each other in Undercover.

i will explain myself like this ,i got thief 1 when it was released,played it for ages,then thief gold came out,i got that game and played it,but for somereason the way they layed out the mission annoyed me=the reason why is i started with thief 1 and i was very use to that,kinda a pattern thing i have with games,i do wish in thief 1 they could have added thieves guild level and song of the caverns,but not to touch the talismans
and as far as spliting up the talismans,yes you could get more missions out of it,but in real life chances are groups would be able to acuirer at least 2 of them =hammers are a impressive order,and i know for a fact for them to get 2 of them is very possible,cause in the other mission lost city you notice that 2 dead keepers couldent get the last 2 talismans,leaving me to belive it would take a group to get them or garrett ofcourse :P
the layout of thief 1 felt good to me overall,ofcourse i could nit pick about stuff,but for the time it was perfect and still is for me
i guess mages tower was a hugh disapointment to me the spliting up of the talismans
also it changed the thief story by doing that and that is a big nono in my book
so if some one ask you what level were talisman on if you played thief 1 you would say one thing and be right and if you played thief gold you would say something else and be right,one of the biggest mistakes looking galss ever made about thief story
which should have been unchanged

Is it possible to "patch" an english TG with the german Thief 1 (non Gold) sound /text files ? So at least some parts of TG become german?

Some clever person with a little time would have to make sure the files were named with the same name for each corresponding sound file, I would guess.
