well i can't afford a $2000 laptop and i live in the good old US of A. i have $3 in the bank and i've been holding on to a $10 bill for the past 4 months, just in case i need it. i've been needing a new video card for ages, and the 5500 cost me all of $70, which was all i could afford and i had a job at the time. now i'm contractually obliged to not work (long story, involves college and social security) and my mother isn't paid half of what she's worth, so i'm pretty much broke for the next five years or so.
your point?
