I made it personal because of the way you said it. You could have worded differently and you know it.
I played a game that's newer than Thief and it worked in 1024x768 just fine (Dreamfall : The Longest Journey). So it may not be just my card, it could also be the crappy Thief 3 engine. But you probably were just looking for a fight that day, so that's it for me. Somebody please lock or delete this thread.

fact of the matter is, i WASN'T looking for a fight. and i honestly don't see what's so damned offensive or condescending about what i said. i was implying that your video card was sorely out of date, in an amusing, exagerrated manner.
honestly. if anyone was looking for a fight, it was you. and you got one. the way i see it, at this point you've got three choices: 1) stop getting all butthurt about something i said, 2) buy a new video card, or 3) you could wait 5 years and buy a PC that runs thief 3 like magic.
i like #1 the best.
