I was one time, but on an dynamic light (so the corona had Track moving object property).
Your vhots points are in the model himself or just placed Under the model ? the corona is property of the hacklight point, and if the light is situated Inside the model of the object it could cause this issue.

Coming back after my move into a new apt. I sitll have the issue so checking out this again.
Well I thought it is okay for the vhots to be inside the model? That's how I have seen all the lights made before?
EDIT: I made the vhots outside of the object and still crashes. I am really sad, I haven't built a big mission or pushed the engine. I have no idea what's wrong.

Could there be an issue with the quality of the png? Is there a internal png memory I can limit? It's not but 128x128 as it is...
EDIT: making it 8 bit doesn't matter. OR even 64x64. Perhaps something is in conflict with the attachment settings? I feel so disheartened on this, as I have seen way more ambitious objects.

It's not a question of format but of size of file. Try to convert some of texture in dds. But if you have many HD textures same with .dds you can have the same problem :(
Maybe future patch could solve that (i hope xD)

I don't see how this is happening. I am going to do this object in a empty mission, but I doubt it will matter as my mission is so small as it is, 4 rooms give or take.
This is what it looks like if I hit ignore on the error. It stutters when I move and corona on vhot 1 (originating from object not attached hacklight).
The white square is the unrendered corona.

I've gotten that error a few times recently, but after restarting Dromed it wasn't repeatable so I wasn't too worried about it. So you see it every time you try to use this particular bitmap as a corona? If you email me the image, I can try and see if it crashes for me as well.

It's not because of computer, i think it's of dark engine limitation (i have a gamer computer and i can have this problem). The parameters of computer can affect this but the problem is essentialy doing by the dark engine (the New Dark Engine is more powerfull but the limitations can be a problem if we try to made great complexity and put HD textures anywhere).

For the corona i have a new problem which could be the same kind of problem: the corona is render when i am in the limit of the object. The corona is in marker (render type Corona only), which i have scale like a great cube. When i am outside the marker the corona disappeared. It's not same problem like yuou, but it's maybe linked, but i don't know how it's produced, it's very random ! In fact this problem affect 10% of my coronas in a FM which i build. If i have new to try solve this problem i will talke more about later xD
