I realized that instead of crashing by going in-game to look at it I could just view it from viewport because I have the directx graphics enabled there.

If I edit ANY of the corona settings of placed object(positive object number), it fixes itself in the viewport. Below is me doing this for left and right light.

It doesn't matter if it's the placed object, corona settings, or the hierarchy object, corona settings pushed to children, it is fixing itself after placement then edit. All placements, place broken, until I change a setting to corona. Additionally it doesn't matter what setting it is at all. The settings doesn't matter because I can change the hierarchy settings to what seem to work and place it, all placed versions are with error.

Any clues?
EDIT: If I clone the bad object it fixes the corona on the base object (not attached corona'd object). Then now, newly placed street lights, coronas work on both lights??Inline Image:
http://i.imgur.com/59jFM4T.pngGoing to try to see if this fixed my cow, saving it to new name, deleting objects, then saving again to new name. I'm going to see if newly placed lamps work in both new cows.
Edit two: Loading first cow, the one with the 5 placed lamps above, showed all of them full on working.

http://i.imgur.com/5Bjg5zY.jpgPlacing a new lamp works, but the attached corona does not, or rather, it appears then disappears as I move. I think this is because of the invisible shovel object the hacklight uses. I can get around this by using a marker I believe, or attaching corona to it's own vhot below it. Moving on to next cow where I removed placed lamps, and attempt to place a lamp fresh.
Edit three: Damn, fresh placed lamp fails again, it's like the good one's that are placed, that "get over it" by a edit or clone, are holding it down for newly created lamps. If they aren't there, placed lamp object fails. I give up for now. Oh and I deleted it and second time placing it worked. SMH. I am going to try another way of making this lamp, maybe it's just not the best to have the hacklight have a corona, but instead a separate corona attached independently, like yandros suggested.

I went back to a earlier save and made the corona it's own object[corona only enabled to hide wedge(being a child of SFX)] and independently attached to vhot 1 and vhot 4. Works as expected, places fine. I can't duplicate the issue, even trying tests I did above. It would appear that corona settings should be their own object, to save from issues down the road. Although it may have been something corrupted in my latest cow, this method makes more since anyway. I think I'm GOOD GUYS!! :thumb:
Thanks again. Especially Yandros and Le MAlin 76.
