Hello,
Having just finished Thief 2 again, I decided to install Thief 3 and have another go with it. Although I generally like the game, my main gripe is that it's too easy because of the ability to hoard equipment, and the fact that the game hands out free items and loot a bit too generously. Therefore what I would really love would be a chance to increase item prices, so that I'd actually have to CHOOSE what to buy instead of just getting as much of everything as possible. I've understood that the values can be found in the T3Gamesys.t3u file, but I don't know what to edit the file with (I assume there is no Thief 3 editor that could do this?). Is there any (relatively) easy way to modify the file and change the prices?

Here's an idea, try playing the game without buying anything (except the climbing gloves).

That's an idea, yes... But that means I won't have anything to spend my loot money on, which makes thieving a bit demoralizing.
The vicious thing is that the difficulty level affects the amount of loot you HAVE to get to finish the mission, which means I have to waste my time gathering loot money I already know I'll never have use for. That's the main reason I play on Hard instead of Expert - I just can't be bothered with the 90% loot requirement.
