yes i use spell correct a bit more now
and very nice star trek skins, now to make a transporter and put all the people with bad insult in it
there is a star gate mission that was pretty fun,not in story but the star gate was used in mission

I'd also put in those who have no clue what punctuation and grammar means.

Purgator does have a point. Downwinder was just throwing out one of those ideas that pop into all of our heads in the middle of the night. I would dare say a few of those ideas posted here might have been picked up and turned into missions. Hell, I had one where Garrett found out he had a brother who was a sheriff in a town where Basso was being held for execution. So much for Doritos and humus as a midnight snack. This forum does have a habit of a little over-policing when it comes to trivial things, i.e. off-linear comments, grammar, an occasional bad word, etc. I've seen it since I joined over ten years ago. We're in a bit of a mission drought, so I welcome any napkin written suggestions or a-ha moments that might inspire someone.
We all know each other, dare I say even friends. There's no need to pull swords in this forum without good reason.

IMO, there are no wishes here to pull swords.
But I may remind you a Fable from LaFontaine, "Le chats et le conseil des rats"
The rats have found an idea to stop the cat, but nobody wants to do it.
The moral of the story: It's cool to have ideas. But it's better to act.
As I said before, but nobody seems to listen to me, being DromEditor is not something impossible.
But making a mission is not easy especially if you want to do something well done.
Doing a mission that will represent a complete movie's universe means that you need many ressources, many custom scripts, many models, etc.
It's not just a mission to do, it's a total conversion mod to build! You just CANNOT imagine the work! Only a fool may do it for you!
So if you really want to play a mission with such universe, as I tried to explain it to you, it's useless to ask god and mappers, your chances to receive something are nigh nonexistent!
That's why I saying to you that it is not enough to say "I got an idea!", a mapper ready to do something for you want to here:
An idea, of course but:
-Gameplay (How to play to win)
-Storyline
-What kind of ressource to find (Textures, sounds, models etc)
-Game design (How the mission(s) must look like)
An exemple of people who have exposed perfectly his idea: Cavalorn about Saving Private Ryan.
Cavalorn has exposed everything. Of course, all details are not present in his post, but he said enough things to see the scene, to imagine how to create the mission, if it is hard or easy to do etc. And it intrigues! ^^
I want to read such thing!
EDIT: Nice Work Purgator ;)
