I'll gladly watch it - I don't think there's anyone on the market making better CGI than Blizzard - but not as a shakycam.

ILM, Pixar, and Weta included, or do you mean just in the games industry?

Haha, you really nailed Empire Strikes Back there. :cheeky:
Yeah? To a cross, I hope. :p

Oh, I'm not debating that. I'll gladly agree that The Terminator carried most of the conceptual load between the two of them. T1 was an edgy sci-fi thriller. T2 was a sci-fi action sequel.
The difference is we're looking at what makes a good movie from rather different angles here. I tend to favour the overall experience, whereas you're quite focused on the plot. (Though I will grant exceptions in case of truly horrendous scripts - for example, the aforementioned Alien Resurrection. Or anything by Roland Emmerich.)
For me, T2 wins out a) in terms of its sheer craftsmanship, pacing, and penchant for spectacle, and b) its execution of the story and dynamics.
It also might be a slightly dumber movie than T1, but while the plot isn't grade-A material (which is also true of T1, I'm sure you'll agree), it's slightly more nuanced and a little more human than its prequel.
Haha, that's brilliant. Yoda has all the best lines. :D

Shit, honestly? I think it actually looks better than whatever Pixar & co. does(As opposed to what they can do).
I mean that "Hell, it's about time" movie. That was just insanely detailed.

Nice.
Though from my occasional skimming of the battle.net forums, I sometimes feel I'm the only person who'd rather have the game properly finished and polished rather than just released NOW. I don't get all those people who've been screaming for the beta for months.

Yea I share your feelings there, removing LAN to prevent Piracy is also one of their biggest mistakes with tihs game IMO. Those two things just ruined the game for me. Blizzard has now topped my list as the bigest money-hungry games devs next to EA.
They better not ruin Diablo 3 the same way, I have high hopes for that game.

Oh please. That doesn't make them money hungry. At least it isn't a shitty DRM copy protection scheme.
