Raynor vs. Kerrigan --
IT'S TIME TO SETTLE THIS
(Echoing people's sentiments across the 'net that a full-on Starcraft movie with those production values would be eminently watchable.)

Whatever else people can say about Blizzard, their cutscene art department is amazing.

Oh hell yeah. At the very least that's some cool shit we'll get from SC2.
Not suspicious at all!

The official line seems to be 'oh but you cannot review it properly without seeing how awesome the Battle.net integration is!'. Which, again, is not suspicious at all!

Any wagers the "I can give you want you've always wanted" guy is a goddamned Xel'Naga?

Having played in the last beta, I can say that despite replacing most of the units from the original game, it plays exactly the same. I'm not surprised- if they changed it up too much, the hardcore SC fans would be up in arms. But the effect is that it feels very, very dated.

Eh, Blizzard always plays it safe with its franchises, little innovation in terms of gameplay. Still, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, preloading it currently.
Cheers!

Dated as in it does nothing new in the genre, or dated as in it feels like you're playing Starcraft 1 all over again? 'cause the former's always been a given, as Mr.D said.
