It's this time of the year again... - by Gloria Creep

Christmas is coming up.
Also time to reflect on 2022.
It was a hard year for me.
Two people dear to me have passed away, apart from my dear friends who past away in this, my Thief family.
My daughter and granddaughter both had a heavy operation and my husband had a bad fall from the stairs, lifting a huge heavy object that fell on his chest.
He crawled through the eye of a needle, so to speak and is still lying in the hospital. He had 12 broken ribs and his spine was severely damaged, among other broken bones, but I'm so glad he survived this extreme injuries. he has had 2 operations already and will have to get to a special clinic for revalidation.
So I haven't been around here a lot, but I want to express to my second family, all of you, that I'm hoping for a great, happy and healthy 2023, for all of us :thumb:
Merry Christmas to all of you and a very healthy and happy 2023
I love you all :thumb::angel: Happy Holidays to all of you!

Very sad to hear Gloria. I hope that the next year will be better. Mary Christmas to you too.
Cannot be more positive than that. I have not felt very well lately, mentally. And from last sunday i'm alone, after a 5 year long relationship.
Every day long, i looking for a reason to continue...

Oh no, I hope everything turns out ok for 2023 (and soon) for everyone. I know it hasn't been my best year either. I have a major toothache right now, just waiting on Monday to try to get in and see someone..
But Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!! I hope everyone stays safe and warm, and for those of us on the mend, Get Better Soon! :D

Yeah, this was a hard year. My country is half-destroyed by Russian nazi-imperialists. Well, next year will be even harder. So this year isn't that bad, I suppose.
Keep yourself warm there, don't drink too much, and try to do something nice from time to time :)

Sorry to hear about your troubles guys, hang in there. For me this year also is tragic because I'm turning 40 on 24th of December.. just kidding, it's not so bad, or is it? :joke:

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people are feeling down this past few years, one reason or another. My last few years there's been not many deaths but a few close and one, my grandfather, to whom I took care of literally 'till the end, for the sake of my grandma, even though he had become violent and had always been not to close to anyone. Like you, Beltzer, I had a somewhat lonely year, romantically, even though I got the chance to be with a couple of people, because I had a heartfelt breakup at the start of the year, and the people I turned out not being into.
Myself didn't have the best year neither. But I'll revel in the good things: I finally found a sport I'm interested in, and it's been wonderful for my mental well being to improve my body, to actually discover I can feel strong. At pretty much the same time, I found a new passion: mushroom growing! Started to self-taught it and began to build a little business about it which will come into fruition (lol) next year. Also, today Argentina won the world cup, and even though I'm not interested in football, the joy the past week and the weeks to come are so needed and so welcome in this country. I love seeing people so happy.
