Feel like I had a very good 2022 unlike most of you and my sincerest and best wishes that you get a so much better 2023 for looking forward to.
I 've been binge playing some old classic FMs lately such as "A Dire Return" "A better tomorrow" and what a blast it is, almost like a tunnel vision I wind up spending weeks if not months diving through FMs than posting on these forums.

Don't let my toothache problem fool ya.. I changed jobs and got out of a seriously depressingly stressful and toxic work environment earlier this year, so I couldn't be happier overall.

It's not been good for me either, I lost my best friend to a heart attack & my brother in law, who was more of a father to me than my own father ever was, to pulmonary fibrosis, not fun

Gloria, I am sorry for your loss.
You've been a constant ray of light to this small community over the years, I've come to regard you as a standard bearer of Thiefdom, as it were.
If your light were to to fade from these fora, I don't quite know where we would be!
Personally, 2022 has been an Annus Horribilis (no giggling please) to say the least. I won't bore you with details.
Just, if you think it has gotten too much to bear, please, please look around for the slightest glimmer of light, the merest photon of brightness. It is there. Believe me.
Guide yourself to that.
It might be a close friend or loved one, a beloved piece of music, a favorite movie or book, a cherished pet or even a humble video game.
Gold is often found amongst the dross.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope to see you all hale and hearty in 2023!

I have been playing some Holiday-themed FMs lately. The Night Before Christmas; A Thief's Holiday; and Christmas Present. ALL are really good and helping me get into that Christmas spirit again. Very nice little missions to enjoy.
