The sketchy nature of that spider picture does it no favors. I'd suggest inking in some strong borders at least.
Also: Thom looks curiously flat and malproportioned in that drawing, which is odd as Bob usually excels at giving Thom a sense of shape and depth.

I agree, Thom's head (for instance) is way out of wack - it's something that always seems to happen when I try to colour a drawing. My sketching is way ahead of my colouring these days, I guess it's a matter of practice.
