I played Thief 3 on a P4 2.0 GHz with 512 MB RAM and an ATI RADEON 9600XT, and it ran fine.
That's almost exactly what I've got, and it plays just fine on my system as well. (only diff is P4 1.5Ghz)

It should run fine. If not, you should try upgrading your video card and make sure you have enough memory space on you hard drive. If not, delete some stuff and you should be set to play the game.

I had GF FX5600 and it ran quite fine. Well... You can't run it with high settings if you want decent framerates. Lets just say. If you can run doom 3 with minimum settings, then you can run Thief Deadly Shadows.

i have doom 3 on high and it runs just fine.
thief 3 is just terribly underoptimized.
on better systems it won't matter as much, though.
